When The Little Art School hosts a birthday party, participants get the opportunity to explore their own artistic creativity and make a take-home art project with the help of one of our instructors. The birthday child and guests will enjoy being inspired, entertained, and educated. As a parent, you can relax while we take care of the creative fun at your child’s next birthday party! Our enthusiastic teachers oversee your party from start to finish including clean up! Take home the party bags, art projects, and the memories, and leave the mess with us!
Since we love to tailor every party to the interests of the birthday child and all your special guests, we invite you to share with us what inspires your group most. We are always happy to create a special project with a custom theme just for you! We will work together to design the perfect birthday party experience that works within your budget.
Generally, we host birthday parties on Saturdays or Sundays from 2:00-4:00. During those two hours, we usually have one main art activity (and possibly a few smaller art centers for early finishers. About halfway through, we can sing “Happy Birthday” and you may have a treat that is easily distributed, such as cupcakes and juice boxes. The treats and everything that goes with them: candles, lighter, plates, napkins, drinks, etc. are the responsibility of the family.
If you choose to open gifts during the party, we will allow time for that toward the end. We can discuss possible art activities, party themes and decorations with you and your child. The number of guests (including the birthday child and siblings) can range from 4-20. However, we have found that, in our space, 8-12 guests are ideal.
Our standard rate for full-service birthday parties is $35 per child. If this is beyond your budget, we may be able to make some adjustments that will make it more affordable.
We offer Art Gift Bags for an additional $5 per guest. The gift bags are very popular! They usually contain a miniature sketchbook and box of crayons, a miniature canvas and paint set, along with a paint brush and art-themed Post-it notes. The best part is that there is gift card for a free session of art club included as well! That alone is a $25 value!
